Just a quick campaign update! We’re on Week 2! Only about 2.5k from our goal, but the middle of the campaign is always the hardest. If you can share about the campaign to interested folks, that would be so appreciated! Maybe you know someone who’s wanting to get a commission of their RPG character? i still have some slots open! Or someone interested in Animal Crossing? i’d love to draw folks’ characters in the Animal Crossing style! (i’d also love to draw the Skyvein cast in the style….just saying~) And thank you all for your support and for backing the project, it means so much to me. Let’s bring Volume One to print!

ALSO, we’ve passed the halfway point on the Skyvein Print Campaign , thank you all so much for your help and support! 3/5 of the full-body commission add-ons have been claimed, but i still have two left if you, or any of your friends, wants me to draw one of your OCs! (i also have bust and Animal Crossing commissions still available). Please help spread the word if you know anyone interested in a fantasy/sci-fi tale of resistance and determination, featuring queer and trans people of color! We’ve come so far already, but we still have a little ways to go and i need your help to do it. <3

Double page update today, so no update on Sunday! i had a lot of fun playing with a less traditional layout for this double-page spread (but don’t ask me how i’m going to convert this for Tapas/Webtoon because that is my least favorite thing).

Red is absolutely a magpie and this is her nest. And this is the first of my bi-volumely use of an eye close-up.

i’ve been doing a lot of working and scheming the last few months and it is, finally, almost time! The Skyvein: Volume One campaign to bring the whole first volume to print will launch on January 24th!

Printing 240+ full-color pages into a soft-cover, perfect-bound tome isn’t cheap, and i need your help to do it.

Apparently, how well crowdfunding does within the first day can help make or break the campaign, so if you are at all interested in backing the campaign, doing so on the first day would help me immensely! (It will also mean that you’ll have access to the early-firebird special, should you want to purchase the physical, softcover book, in all its glory, for a discounted price!)
